"We watched the sun drop over the pasture from the farmhouse porch and nobody reached for a phone for two hours. The house was spotless, the beds were hotel-good, and check-in took thirty seconds."

Destinations across the Bluegrass
Derby city energy, horse-capital countryside, bourbon country and 1,100 miles of lake shoreline — Kentucky holds more kinds of trips than most states twice its size.
Evenings they'll talk about all year
"Booked the lake cabin for a fishing weekend and ended up extending two nights. Dock at sunrise, hot tub at night, and the Solstice team had firewood stacked before we even asked."
Daniel & Priya K.Stayed at Lake Cumberland · Long weekend"Our whole bourbon-trail group fit in one Victorian in Bardstown — wraparound porch, huge dining room, distilleries ten minutes away. Booking direct saved us a real chunk over the platforms."

How do I book a Solstice stay?
Pick your property, choose dates in the price calculator, and tap "Reserve by email" — or call us at +1 270-623-8547. We confirm availability personally, usually within the hour, and hold your dates while you finalize plans.
What is included in the price?
The nightly rate plus a one-time $90 cleaning fee and a 10% service fee. That covers professional cleaning, linens and towels, stocked kitchen basics, fast WiFi, parking and 24/7 host support. No hidden charges — the total you see in the calculator is the total you pay.
What are check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 4:00 PM and check-out is by 10:00 AM. Every Solstice home uses smart-lock self check-in, so late arrivals are never a problem. Early check-in is free whenever the home is ready — just ask.
Are your homes pet-friendly?
Many of our houses, cabins and farmhouses welcome dogs with a small pet fee. Look for "Pet Friendly" in the property amenities, or tell us about your pet when you reserve and we'll match you with the right home.
What is your cancellation policy?
Full refund for cancellations made 14 or more days before check-in, and a 50% refund up to 7 days before. Weather and travel disruptions happen — reach out and we will always try to rebook your dates first.

About Solstice Luxury Retreats
A Kentucky hosting company built on golden-hour thinking: the best stays feel unhurried, generous and local. We run sixteen luxury rentals across fifteen Kentucky cities from our home base in Elizabethtown.
Started in Elizabethtown. Hosting all of Kentucky.
Solstice Luxury Retreats LLC began with a simple observation: Kentucky welcomes millions of visitors a year — for the Derby, the bourbon trail, the lakes and the horse farms — but too many of them end up in generic hotel rooms far from the experiences they came for.
So we built the stays we would want ourselves. A Victorian on a quiet Bardstown street, minutes from the distilleries. A cabin where the dock is your front yard. A farmhouse where the sunset does the entertaining. Every Solstice property is visited, vetted and cared for by our own team.
Today we host more than 12,000 guests a year across fifteen Kentucky cities — families reuniting, friends touring bourbon country, anglers chasing stripers at dawn — and we still answer our own phone.

Local, always
Our team lives in the communities we host in. Restaurant tips, distillery tour timing, the quiet boat ramp — we share the Kentucky we know, not a script.
Clean is non-negotiable
Every home is professionally cleaned, inspected and restocked before each arrival, with hotel-grade linens and a photographed quality check.
Direct means honest
Booking direct with Solstice skips platform markups. The price in our calculator — nightly rate, $90 cleaning, 10% service — is the whole story.
